  I changed dental practice after 35yrs with my current dentist and I was recommended to try this brand new state of the art facility in Prestonpans. On arrival the waiting area was spacious, bright and seating comfortable, the staff were all very friendly and the facilities more like a hospital than a dental practice, The dentist assigned to me was very welcoming and carried out my examination quickly and efficiently. Overall a very pleasant experience and also a practice I myself would now highly recommend. Stuart Duff

  I cracked my tooth & unhappy with my current dentist, decided to register with Family Dental in Prestonpans. They gave me an appointment for the same day, registered me and fixed my tooth. My X-rays however revealed a broken wisdom tooth with an extraction the only sensible option to avoid any future problems. My dentist explained the X-ray so well, I could see that I had to get this done. Petrified and reluctant I was not looking forward to this at all and spent the 3 weeks leading up to the appointment reading dental blogs online and stressing myself out. Today was the day of the scheduled extraction and I cannot praise my dentist enough, he was excellent - kind, considerate and clearly able. The tooth was out within minutes. Dental work is awful but the right dentist can make such a difference!
